Operation Phoenix - a vet at work in the wilderness.

Originally used only by hunters, the term 'Big Five' hardly needs any introduction. Referring to five of Africa's greatest wild animals - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino - it has become synonymous with Africa and her wild areas. Nowadays, many travellers regard a visit to South Africa as incomplete without having spotted, and perhaps photographed, the Big Five.

Now there is another Big Five. . .

These are the five corporations that give the greatest support to WildNet Africa. In doing so, these corporations facilitate the use of the internet to spread the news of Africa's conservation projects around the world. And, through WildNet Africa's own programmes, to empower children and local African communities to make use of this powerful medium. Thus enabling them to let the world know of their dreams, aspirations, interests and problems. Wherever WildNet Africa's Big Five has helped, you will see this banner...

Please support them in their endeavour to make Africa a better place for all.
